Overview

The Employment Verification APIs allow you to validate an individual's employment history through the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) database. By linking a PAN number to its associated Universal Account Number (UAN), you can retrieve detailed employment records including employer names, dates of joining and exit, and provident fund contribution history.

These APIs support two key workflows:

  1. PAN to UAN lookup — Resolve a PAN number to its linked UAN, establishing the connection between identity and employment records.
  2. Employment history retrieval — Use the UAN to fetch a comprehensive employment timeline with employer details and contribution data.
